Robert 'Bob' William Hagemann Sr, 84, of Argyle, went to his heavenly home on Thursday January 27, 2022. Although we are heart broken – we rejoice that there is no more suffering and our Husband, Dad, Bobpa and will always be in our hearts.
Bob was born May 22, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas to U.W. Sr and Mary Edith (Tillman) Hagemann. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School. He married the love of his life Patsy Lou Hagemann June 28, 1957 – 65 wonderful years as husband and wife.
He was employed by the City of Denton Fire Department 1961 to 1993 where he Served as a Fireman(1961), Driver(1962), Captain(1967) and Fire Marshal(1973-1994). After retiring he taught Fire Science at Collin County Community College. He was a member of: National Fire Protection Association, International Association of Arson Investigators, Texas Chapter International Association of Arson Investigators (Life Member), Texas Fire Marshals Association (Life Member), North Texas Fire Investigators (Life Member), East Texas Investigators Association, Coordinator-Guest Instructor of Texas A&M Municipal Fire Academy, Fire Service Certification: Basic Fire Fighter, Intermediate Fire Service Instructor, Master Fire Inspector & Master Fire Investigator, Law enforcement Certification & Master Peace Officer Certified Code Enforcement Officer.
He was a member of Gateway United Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and taught Sunday School. Bob was also the Youth Director at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Denton for 10 years.
Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and the Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 both at Gateway United Baptist Church. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will be at Plainview Cemetery in Krum, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Lou Hagemann of Denton; daughter Cathy Jane Hunt (Terry) of Denton; son(s) Robert(Rusty) William Hagemann Jr of Arizona and Kevin Wayne Hagemann (Jen) of Denton- ten grandchildren, Jayme, Casey, Katie(Wayne), Robbie(Meagan), Matthew(Skye), Hannah(Daniel), Susanna(Drew), Shelby, Mason, and Phoenix. 3 Precious Great Granddaughters: Murphy, Llewellyn and Martha "Birdie". Preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers-James Ellis Hagemann and U.W. Hagemann Jr.
