Robert Emmitt Gregory, 88, of Sanger, passed away September 7, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. He was born January 28, 1922 to Felix Stanley and Mary Columbia (Dignan) Gregory in Chicago, IL. He was raised a member of the Catholic Church and attended Wright Jr. College. Robert married Hazel Henke in California on July 24, 1943. Robert then joined the United States Army shortly there after to serve in WWII. Upon his return Hazel and Robert resumed family life raising three daughters. Robert was also helped to found the Denton Dog Show Club.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Gregory of Sanger; daughter, Andrea Frazier of Sanger; sister, Rita Gregory of Chicago, IL; one grandchild, Raegan Runnels-Des Jardin. Robert was preceded in death by two of his daughters, Avis Jill Bryant and Alexandrea Runnels and sister, Eileen Stanger.
