Robert Gary Goodman, of Flower Mound, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 28, 2006. Robert was born in Austin March 13, 1957 to Frank and Bernice Goodman. Robert was very involved in his community as a volunteer coach with the Lewisville Baseball, Football and Softball Associations. Robert worked for Centex/G Enterprises for over 30 years. He loved helping people and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Robert is survived by his wife Lorene Goodman of Flower Mound; children, Krystal Ann Goodman-Newton and husband, Clayborn of Texarkana, Robert Goodman of Flower Mound and step-daughter, April Muniz of Flower Mound; sisters, Jackie Wyatt and husband Paul of Arlington, Kay Jarrett and husband, Cary of Kaufman, Ronda Gail Skube and husband Frank of Scurry and Mary Goodman Hunter and husband, Claude of Myrtle Beach; mother-in-law, Marie Marcum Moore and two grandchildren, Emma Ann Newton and Aspen Muniz. Funeral service will be at 6pm, Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the Valley Creek Church in Flower Mound. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday, October 2, 2006 in the Miller Creek Cemetery near Johnson City at 1pm.
