Robert A. 'Bob' Grabowski, age 86, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 22, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony Grabowski and Diana Moudre Grabowski. Bob served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He attended Texas A & M University and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Bob was an avid golfer and active in Republican politics in Jefferson County, Colorado. He retired from Chevron Corporation after 33 years.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pat; daughter, Lee Anne Powers and husband, Richard of Highland Village, Texas; grandsons, Tyler and Travis Hammond; sister, Helen Faulkner and brother, Jim Grabowski and their families

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Franklin Park retirement community in Lewisville. Interment will follow at a later date in Illinois. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Salvation Army, MADD or the Parents Television Counsel.
