Obituary
Robbie Morris Bartley, 85, of Denton, died Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Senior Care Center in Denton.
Mr. Bartley was born on August 29, 1925 in Franklin County, TX to William J. and Alma V. (Barnett) Bartley. He was married to Rosalind Vernell Miller on June 7, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, TX. He served in the United States Army and Air Force during WWII. He was retired from George Selby Greenhouse in Denton.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 6, 2010 at Cooper Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Montgomery and Rev. Bobby Bryan will officiate the service.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalind Vernell Bartley of Denton; daughters, Virginia Steele and her husband Glen of Caddo Mills, Roberta Hudgins and her husband George of Denton, Rebecca Rodgers of Ponder; sons, Kenneth Bartley and his wife Monica of Midlothian, David Bartley of Denton; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, Denton Unit, 3301 West Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
