Rita Gale Venable, 47, of Little Elm, TX died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1959 in Dallas, to Lloyd and Lenora (Gilbert) Shatid. She was married to Tim Venable in Little Elm, TX on June 19, 1984. She is a member of the Living Word Baptist Church and a Homemaker.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma, with Dr. Nick Farley, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 for Visitation.

Mrs. Venable is survived by husband Tim Venable of Little Elm, TX Daughters, Amanda Gale Carter, of Nashville, Tenn. And Elicia Gale Brown, of Little Elm, TX and sons, Steven Douglas Shatid, of Nashville, Tenn. and John Phillip Blair, of Corinth, TX. A sister Letha Faye Brewer, of Bennington, Okla. and brothers David Shatid, of Ardmore Okla. Lloyd Shatid and A. J. Shatid, of Bennington, Okla. and Ten Grandchildren.
