Richard Zane Douglas, 59, of Copper Canyon, TX died Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1947 in Cherry Fork, W. VA to Sherlock and Viola Maxine (Mallett) Douglas. He was married to Janice Needham in 1966 in Junction City, Kansas. He was self employed as a Marine Technician and Owned Rick's Marine in Copper Canyon, TX. He served in the U S Army, and was a member of the Baptist Church.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 P.M. and until 8:00 P.M. on September 3, 2006 at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
There will be no formal services at this time.

Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife, Janice Douglas, of Copper Canyon, TX. a daughter, Kim Kilpatrick, of Argyle, and his mother, Viola Maxine Douglas, of Massillon, Ohio and a sister Nancy Deierling, of Massillon, Ohio, and three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Margaret A. Todd.
