Obituary
Richard Thomas Favors, 52, of Winnsboro, passed away Friday August 5, 2011 at Baylor Medical Center of Garland. Mr. Favors was born on July 13, 1959 in Grapevine, TX to Thomas Lane and Dixie Thomas (Hancock) Favors. He graduated from R.L. Turner High School and was known as "Hangman" a truck driver.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday August 13, 2011 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Visitation will be before and after the service. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Mr. Favors is survived by his father, Tommy Favors; daughters, Veronica Favors, Amanda Singleterry; son, Alan Favors; sisters, Elaine Lively, Karen Byrd; Sharon Ersch; seven grandchildren and ex-wife, Debbie.
