Richard (Ricky) Reed of Denton, TX passed away in the early morning hours of May 14, 2014 after a short illness.
Ricky was born August 13, 1958 in Denton, TX to Fred Reed and Patsy J. (Davis Reed) Burch. Ricky was a master electrician employed at TWU, a member of the IOOF Lodge, and a HUGE supporter of the TWU Girls Softball Team.
Ricky married Deborah S. Reed on January 3, 1997 in Corinth, TX.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife Deborah and his stepsons, Scott Drevicky, Brad Drevicky, and Brian Drevicky, grandson Nathan, his daughter Crystale R. Samuel and spouse Jason of California, and father Fred Reed of Denton, TX; half-sister Tina Miller and spouse Tommy, and his brother Lee Erwin, spouse Tammy and nephew Trent.
Ricky is preceded in death by his mother Patsy J. Burch of Corinth, TX and his daughter Cassie Renee Reed.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton with Rev. Cliff Feeler officiating. There will be a visitation at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening.
