Richard 'Rick' Lee Bothwell, 51, of Denton, died Wednesday September 26, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.

Rick was born on January 23, 1956 in Denton to Arthur Lee, Jr. and Dorothy (Cloud) Bothwell. He was a member of Rockhill Baptist Church. Rick loved to work with computers and enjoyed being out in the garden.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Gateway United Baptist Church, 2401 N. Bell Ave., Denton. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Gateway United Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Bothwell of Denton; sister, Joy Stanford of Aubrey; brother, Billy Wayne Bothwell of Denton; nieces, Jennifer Bothwell-Button of Red Oak, TX, Karessa Griffin of Lewisville, Melissa Griffin of Denton; nephew, Tracey Gibson of Denton; three great nieces and five great nephews.
