Richard "Ricky" Bruce Dean, 64, of Sanger, entered into eternity on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Ricky was born on June 21, 1951 in Fort Worth to M.H. Dean, Jr. and Elizabeth (Harvey) Dean. He served in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1974. He was married to Jana Sims on February 4, 1977 in Sanger. He served as a Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Sanger and was a long time member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge. He retired in 2012 from Lockheed-Martin after thirty-three years of service.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Jana Dean of Sanger; daughter, Dana (Dean) Duke and her husband Bryan of Little Elm; brother, Joe H. Dean of Keller; grandchildren, Macen Dean James, Allie Rebecca Duke, Bryson Asher Duke; aunt, Juanita "Aunt Babe" Rippetoe. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Dean Knight.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Sanger. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Sanger with Revs. Grant Bowles, E.L. "Skip" McNeal and Michael Block officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Baptist Church of Sanger or the Bolivar Masonic Lodge.
