Rhoda P. (Jackie) Herd Stockard passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in Denton, TX. She was born June 24, 1926 in Ferris, Ellis Co. TX. Her parents were: Pauline (Ranton) and Oria H. (Bob) Herd who preceded her in death. She and Gerald Raymond Stockard were married Dec. 26, 1947 in Denton, TX. He preceded her in death in April 2002. She retired in 1981 from Springtown, (TX) High School as librarian. She is preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie H. Williams; brother, Gene Wayne Herd and is survived by her nephews, Robert E. Herd and Paul C. Williams and dear cousins Janet and Bill Stockard. Per Rhodas' request, there will be no services. Online condolences may be left at Denton Funeral Home.net.
