Rhoda Ann Browder, 89, of Denton, died Monday October 1, 2007 at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Browder was born on September 24, 1918 in Hartshorne, OK to Robert O. and Elizabeth (Emery) Wieneke. She was married to Jack H. Browder.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday October 4, 2007 in the Cole Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Lisa Marshall will officiate the service. Interment will be later that day at 3:00 PM at Duncan Cemetery, Duncan, OK. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday October 3 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Browder of Denton; sister, Jean Hollingsworth of Denton. She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Browder, Jr.; and brothers, Robert L. Wieneke, Joe H. Wieneke, Frank R. Wieneke and Forrest J. Wieneke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the First United Methodist Church, 201 S. Locust St., Denton, TX 76201; or a charity of your choice.
