Renata Arlene Dempsey, aged 84, residing in Denton Texas, passed away March 31st, 2023 from Alzheimer's. Renata was born on Galveston Island 11/23/1938. She grew up spending time with her father Albert Ober in Galveston, and her mother Dorothy Foster Cogdel in Denton. She married Larry Dempsey in Denton on 4/5/1957. She is predeceased by her father, mother, two babies and a son, Victor Dale. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Larry Dempsey, a son Davin Dempsey and a daughter Dana Jowers. She has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
