Rebecca Brownlee passed away at her home at Dogwood Estates in Denton, Texas on December 9, 2017. She was born to Dr. and Mrs. Chester A. Pierce on May 4, 1925 with her twin brother, Robert, in Hastings, NE. She married Ernest Nolan Brownlee on July 14, 1945 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Karen Baccellieri, and her parents and siblings. Rebecca was a resident of Dallas for most of the 63 years of her marriage. She moved to Denton after the death of her husband to be closer to her daughter Kathi [Richard] Sale, her grandchildren Chris [Aimee], Jeremy, Angela [Ted] Grubke, and her great grandchildren Lauren, Natalie, Ethan, Jaden, and Austin.

Other family members include her son Ernest Brownlee [Susan], and his children Kristin [Jesse] Thrasher and Ernest III. Karen [Carl] Baccellieri have seven children: Vanessa [Mike] Dawid, Robert Rivello, Samuel Rivello, Carl [Becky] Baccellieri, Kathleen [ Steven] Garrigan, Bryan [Amy] Baccellieri, Megan [ Mark] Gigliotti. Rebecca is survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Restland Cemetary in Dallas at 2:00. Visitation will be held at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, Texas Thursday, December 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm. She was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Denton.
