Reba Christine Davis Strube, 82, died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at the Vintage in Denton. She was born December 11, 1923 to Lawrence Burton and Ica (Driskell) Davis in Nevada, Missouri. She was a Graduate of Denison High School and Draughon's Business College in Denison. She was a member of the Waples United Methodist Church in New Braunfels. She was married to Delbert Howard Strube on December 22, 1943 in Denison, TX. He died Feb. 26, 2003. She was a homemaker and Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Denison, TX Gate City #77 Fifty Years, and Seguin #555 in Seguin, TX.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home Chapel in New Braunfels, with burial in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. The Reverend Ronald D. Zipp will officiate.

Mrs. Strube is survived by a son, Col. (Ret) Larry Stube of O"Fallen, IL and a daughter, Linda Strube, of Denton, a sister, Nadine Neaves, of Irving. Three Grandchildren.
