Raymond Pittsinger, 80, of Denton, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth.
Mr. Pittsinger was born on November 7, 1933 in Collin County to Homer and Marion (Cole) Pittsinger. He was married to Correne Erwin on September 27, 1952; she preceded him in death on August 21, 1986. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church. Raymond worked for many years at Beck's Garage and retired from the Denton ISD.
Raymond never had any children of his own. He cherished and loved his nephews and nieces like his own. He is survived by a sister, Lena Boyer of Denton; several nephews and nieces; one great niece, Brooke Norman, of whom he was very fond and loved her afternoon visits. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Krants and Bernice Hunt; brothers, Richard Pittsinger and Homer Pittsinger.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 9, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery, Joplin, TX.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pittsinger, Terry Pittsinger, Bud Erwin, Dwayne Harwell, Austin Pittsinger, Benny Erwin.
