Randole D. Phillips, born in 1936 in Celina, Texas left this world May 2, 2021. He attended Denton public schools and retired from AT&T. Randole (Randy) was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Marjorie Lynn Phillips.

He is survived by his brother Clyde C. Phillips Jr, sisters Joyce McCoy and Wanda Phillips, his wife of 18 years Virginia Rose Phillips, his three children: Jeanne Martin and husband Robert, Johnny Phillips and wife Debra, and Scott Phillips and wife Jennifer, his stepdaughter Renee Gallatin and husband Larry. He was lovingly known as "Grandpoppie" by his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm in the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
