Obituary

Ralph Curtis Burch, 78, of Argyle, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born April 10, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma to Jess A. and Vesta M. (Milligan) Burch. He was a retired Coach and Teacher with the Irving Independent School District. He was married to Pauline Lewis on September 5, 1964 in Denton. He was a graduate of Denton High School, and received a Bachelor's and Masters Degree from the University of North Texas. He was a member of the Hickory Creek Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Hickory Creek Bapitst Church, 5724 Teasley Lane, Denton, with Rev. Raymond Castro, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Alton Cemetery. The family will be at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 3, 2007.

Mr. Burch is survived by is wife, Pauline Burch, of Argyle, Daughters, Diana L. Simpson, and Sharon Kelly Howell, of Denton, and Kathy D. Kern, of Wylie, Son, David A. Burch, of Argyle, sisters, Jessie Gromatsky, of Chandler, Geneal Tibbets, of Denton, Mary F. Burns, of Houston, Billie Marie Brown, of Angleton, Peggy Spencer, and Maxine Bell, of Denton, and brothers, Ellis Burch, of Springdale, AR Wayne Burch, of Denton, R. B. Burch, of Pilot Point, and Norman Burch, of Duncanville.. Grandchildren, Tim, Amanda, Riley, Christine, Kristen, and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Johnny Burch, and sisters, Odessa Armentrout, Jean Nichlas, and Ruth Burch.
