Quentin William Ciceron, 78, departed to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016 in Denton, Texas. Quentin was born on May 23, 1937 in Westbury, New York where he spent his childhood and adolescence. During his final two years of high school, he attended Mount Herman in Massachusetts, and then went on to receive his bachelors degree from Davis and Elkins College in 1960. After a stint in the Navy, graduate school at the University of Missouri, and a year teaching English in Puerto Rico, Ken met and married Charlene Lester, worked as a counseling psychologist for the Veteran's Administration, and spent over forty years as a part of the community in Miami, Florida, before making his final move to Texas. He is survived by Charlene, his wife of 40 years, his daughter, Kristina Ann Mays, son-in-law Chris, two grandsons, Brave and Alton and two granddaughters, Davie Grace and Georgie Ann, who affectionately refer to him as "Papa". Quentin, known by friends and family as "Ken", was a faithful servant of his church and community wherever he lived. He is dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
A funeral was held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on at 10:00am on Friday, March 4, 2016 in Denton, TX. Quinton was laid to rest in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
