Phillip Edward Smith, age 80, most recently of Lewisville, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 20th, 2008 in the Lewisville hospital.

Phil was born in San Antonio on July 8th, 1928 to Walter B. and Jozella A. Smith.

Phil was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his fiancée', Romona M. Wiseman; nieces, Carolyn Carson Williams, Janice Smith Levine, Barbara Smith Rose and Betty Jo Smith Meade; nephews, Randal F. Smith and Roland E. Smith

His long time best friend, Floyd Pridgen recently passed away.

He served two years in the US Army and retired in 1994 from NCH Corporation.

Chapel service will be held at 8pm, Monday evening, December 22nd, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home

Interment will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:00PM, in the San Fernando Cemetery #3 in San Antonio.
