Phillip Wallace Hines, age 59, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010, in Dallas, Texas.
He was born September 19, 1950 in Lyons, Kansas to Cecil H. Hines and Eva Sortor Hines. Phil was a 1969 graduate of Smackover High School in Smackover, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army and the United States Coast Guard.
He is survived by his brother, Stephen D. Hines of The Colony, Texas, Sister-in-Law, Donna M. Hines of The Colony, TX, niece Deborah MacNeill of Fitchburg, MA, Nephew, Darrell Hines of Spenser, MA, Nephew David Hines of Cherryville, NC, niece Deanna Shaw of Lunenburg, MA and fiancé Alicia McDonnell of Colorado Springs, CO.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
