Phillip Dwane Guay, 40, of Green Valley, died Monday December 5, 2011 at
Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.
Phillip was born on January 19, 1971 in Denton, Texas to Larry and Dwanlyn (Lynch) Guay. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints Church. He worked as a cabinet maker and was a very talented woodworker and craftsman.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday December 9, 2011 at the Mulkey Mason funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Green Valley Community Church located on FM. 2153 West, 3 miles past Loop 288 off of Sherman Drive. Al White will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Dwanlyn Lynch Guay and her husband Kevin Paulsen of Green Valley; father, Larry Guay and his wife Glenda of Denton; son, Christopher Guay of Fruitvale, TX; brothers, Loren Guay of Green Valley, Ryan Guay of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandparents, Bessie Lynch of Green Valley; Al and Arlene Guay of Florida.
