Philip D. Waller, 75, of Denton passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian of Denton. He was born December 18, 1934 in Ivanhoe, VA to Arvil L. and Ruby M. (Branscome) Waller. He was married to Margaret A. McPeak on August 2, 1952 in Pulaski, VA. He served proudly in the United States Air Force for 15 years. He was self employed at Waller Automotive and after retiring, worked for James Wood Motors as a driver. He so enjoyed working with the James Wood family.
Phil was saved when he was an adult, and loved and served our Lord. He took pride in all he did, and everything he accomplished was done so with hard work. He was well respected by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed by his family in so many ways.
The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Internment will follow at Jackson Cemetery, Krum, Tx.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret A. Waller of Denton; son Philip D. Waller Jr. and his wife Kassandra of Colleyville; daughters Teddy Renee Bishop and her husband Bobby of Palestine, Cynthia E. Waters and her husband Jimmy of Sanger; sister, Nancy Mathis and her husband James of Ferris; grandchildren Jason Waller, Jerrod Waller, Sarah Waller, Stephanie Waller, Tyler Mulkey, Adam Mulkey, Holly Bishop, Austin Waters, and Blake Waters; Great-grandchildren Grey Waller, Preston Carlisle, Jr., and Charles Pierce Mulkey II; Uncle Frank Waller of Virginia; along with numerous other relatives and many special friends. Pallbearers will be his Grandsons and son-in-laws. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Waters, Blake Waters and Grey Waller.
