Peter Dennis Waters, 71, of Denton, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Seasons Hospice Inpatient Center in Dallas.
Peter was born on August 12, 1946 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England to Dennis and Nellie (Parsons) Waters. He was married to Angela Maria Challen on August 30, 1969 in Swindon, England.  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who made friends easily and was loved by all.
Peter spent most of his working life in the auto design and aerospace industries, retiring in 2008 after working as the Director of Advanced Production Design at Johnson Controls. He was a lifetime Manchester Utd fan, very active with the Pickleball Club in Robson Ranch, enjoyed playing golf with his friends at Robson Ranch and looked forward to his cup of coffee and slice of cake, or afternoon glass of wine.
He is survived by his wife, Angela; sons, Kevin and his wife Saskia of Denton, Andrew and his wife Maria of Minneapolis, MN; brother, Michael of Swindon, England; grandchildren, Georgia and Juliette; mother-in-law, Anita Challen of Richmond, England.
A nondenominational memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday December 28th at the Denton LDS Church ( 3000 Old North Rd, Denton, TX 76201 ). Michael Crossley will officiate the service.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choosing in lieu of flowers.  As the service will be a celebration of Peter's life, somber clothing is not required.  A post service gathering will be held at 2pm after the service, at the family home.
