Penny Esther Chilton

Penny Esther Chilton entered heaven on June 11, 2023 from Denton Texas at the age of eighty four. She was born in Pontiac Michigan on May 8, 1939 to parents Betty and Jack Moore.

Penny loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had a positive word to share and she had a smile that could light up a room. She enjoyed sailing and was a plant enthusiast.  She really loved her sports, on the weekend you would find her watching golf, football or the car races, she loved it all. With her welcoming personality and caring heart many people over the years became an extension of our family and also called her "mom".

Penny is survived by her daughter Debbie Breedlove and her son Robert Chilton Jr. and wife Sheila Chilton and sister Jackie Ends and Brother Mike Moore and wife Lillian Moore; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with many extended family members not listed.

Penny was preceded in death by her husband Robert Chilton Sr. They began dating when they were teenagers and remained together until he entered heaven. They loved the Lord and lived a happy and full life together with so much love they shared.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday June 23, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm with a brief service at 6 pm location Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral home, 705 N. Locust Denton TX. 76201, phone 940-382-6622.
