Peggy L. Newland Patterson, 75 of Lewisville, TX passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at her home. She was born September 19, 1938 in Denton to Carl and Ruby (George) Newland. She was a graduate of Denton High School, and Texas Woman's University. She was married to Troy Patterson on August 20, 1955 in Denton. She was a member of the Unity Church, and was a retired Teacher with the Lewisville Independent School District.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her husband Troy Patterson, daughters, Shari Patterson Thweatt and Perri Patterson Wilson-Koller all of Lewisville, sisters, Billie Norman of Conroe, Betty Fanning of Keller, and Robin Starnes of Duncan, OK brother, Ronnie Newland of Lone Oak, Six Grandchildren and a large extended family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton followed by a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Gerald Patterson, officiating.
