Pedro A. Loredo, 77, of Denton, formerly of Michigan, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Loredo was born on January 18, 1937 in Donna, TX to Juan and Getrudis (Olvera) Loredo. Pedro worked in agriculture his whole life, operating and driving machinery on sod farms from south Texas to Michigan. He was married to Maria L. Loredo and she died on July 5, 1994.
Mr. Loredo is survived by his daughters, Leticia Owens of Redford, MI, Lilia Carlson of Howell, MI; sons, Pete Loredo of Denton, Peter Damerow of Fowlerville, MI; sisters, Esmerihilda Dimas of Indiana, Romalda Alejandro of Chicago, IL; brothers, Juan Loredo of Oregon, Seturnino Loredo of Denton; grandchildren, Timothy McCreary, Melissa Barck, Adriane Cruz, Desiree Padron, Hunter Carlson, Sol Loredo, Mia Loredo; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sisters, Rachel Leyja, Juanita Macias, Maria Loredo, Yolanda Loredo and brothers; Julian Loredo, Porfirio Loredo.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2014 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Deacon Emilio "Popo" Gonzalez will officiate the service.
