Pearl Florence Buckley, age 83, died on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Renaissance Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dallas, Texas on December 23, 1935 to Edna and Homer Kinnamon, Pearl was the youngest sibling following Bonnie, Alice, Peggy, Holly and Sam. Her father died before she was 1-year-old, leaving her mother to raise six children on her own. Pearl attended Crozier Tech (Dallas High School) in Downtown Dallas and went on to work for Texas Instruments in addition to many other technical jobs. On August 2, 1952, she was married to George Buckley Sr., and by age 19, she had three children. She was known by her family as Nanny and will leave a legacy of selfless love for her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband George; daughter, Connie, son, George Jr. (Colleen); 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her siblings and her daughter Terri. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Mulkey-Bowles Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Valley View Cemetery.
