Pauline McKnight

Pauline McKnight passed away May 24, 2011 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1922 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to Andrew and Tollie Smith. She moved to Texas in 1939 where she married her husband of 50 year Thurman McKnight in Gunter, TX. They resided in Tioga, TX until they moved their family to Denton, TX in 1954 where she raised her children and was a homemaker. She lived in the same home for 55 years.
Pauline was a cherished member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God for 57 years. She was an extremely loving mother, Mammaw, and Mamoo who is survived by her daughter and son in law Vickie and James Good, son and daughter in law Dale and Vickie McKnight, son in law Bill Harpole; Grandchildren, Charles Mullen, Marlena McKnight, Stephanie and her husband Tommy Calvert, Sean and Jeff Harpole. Great-grandchildren; Stacy and Aubrey Mullen, Caden and Cooper Calvert, Hailey and Samuel Harpole; Four sisters and their husbands, Marie and Jimmy Robertson, Pat and Roy Dean Smith, Jackie and Dan Everett, Sue and David Cassidy. She is also survived by her beloved "wiener dog" Buster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Joyce Harpole, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held Friday May 27, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday May 28, 2011 10am at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dallas Stevens, Jerry Don Sprabary, Tommy Cravett, Caleb Williams, Josh Williams, and Gerald Brown. Honorary pallbearer TJ Lindenborn.
