Paul Mark Fowler, born in Sherman, Texas on June 28, 1954, age 63, to the late Dorothy Elaine Calhoun and James Henry Fowler, passed away at home on May 5, 2018 in Gilmer, Texas. Mark grew up in Sherman, graduating from Sherman High School. He spent 46 years in telecommunication working his way up to project manager at Metro Net. Mark was the beloved husband of Emelia (Miki) Fowler. He enjoyed hunting with his buddies; playing cards and volleyball with family and friends; a cold beer; watching the Cowboys and Mavericks; playing with his grandkids and sweets, he loved his sweets. Mark was giving and kind, always there to lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Fowler and Gary Fowler; and dog, Pepper. Mark is survived by his stepsons, Michael Miller and Shandy Miller (Janet); stepdaughters, Venus Hornbuckle (Scott) and Sharla Salazar (Johnny); sister, Nanette Kelley (Donnie); sister in-law Cassandra Fowler; nephews, Shawn Smith, Aaron Kelley and Blake Fowler; nieces, Sarah Rubino, Christy Sylvester and Jennifer Zanbrano. 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. The family invites donations in Mark's name to Organic Consumers Association.
