Patsy Elizabeth Page
Patsy Elizabeth Page was born in Denton on February 20, 1931, to Vera Aileen and Noah R. Wiggs. She died peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2014. She married the love of her life, Curtis L. Page, on October 4, 1947. They lived happily together for over 62 years until his death on May 29, 2009. Patsy was a homemaker and helped Curtis run their business for over 20 years. They were both lifelong members of the Denton VFW. Her passions were dancing (all her life), family and genealogy, and New Orleans, where she wants her ashes scattered on Bourbon Street.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patty Lynn Page McClendon and Cheryl Diane Long, both of Denton; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her only son, Tony Curtis Page; best son-in-law, Jimmy Don Long; brother Richard L. Wiggs; and sisters Jimmye Nell O'Dell and Rachel Bell Calvert.
