Patricia Lou Bryan, 72, of Denton, died Tuesday June 22, 2010 at home.
Patricia grew up in Childress, TX. She was the oldest of four children and at 29, she moved to Denton, TX. A few years later, while raising her three children, she attended Texas Woman's University and received her degree in education. She started her journey as an elementary school teacher here in Denton at the old Sam Houston School. After a couple of years, she moved to Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. After all her children were grown, her journey in teaching would take her to Germany, where she taught for several years. However, her journey did not stop there. Next would be South Korea and from there she returned to live in Denton and completed her teaching in the Dallas Independent School District. Retiring just a few years ago, she spent her life teaching all of us so much. She passed away in her home in her sleep with her daughter at her side. Patricia was loved by those around the world, who knew her and learned from her.
