Patricia Ann Kendall Masters, age 73, of Highland Village, Texas passed away on Monday, October 2, 2006.

She was born July 21, 1933 in Austin, Texas to Gaynor and Lois Cannon Kendall. She married the Reverend Ralph L. Masters on December 18, 1954 in Austin. Patricia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and a Phi Beta Kappa. She received a Master's Degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she taught for many years before returning to teach high school English in Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville, Texas, the Daughters of the King, and the Land O' Lakes Garden Club. She volunteered for many years at various libraries, because she loved books and reading, especially to her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Ralph; her father, Gaynor Kendall; her brother, Terrence Kendall; her three children, John Kendall Masters, Elizabeth Masters Fraley and Rebecca Masters Winston, as well as her five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Kendall.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006at 4:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Lewisville Public Library, P.O. Box 299002, Lewisville, TX 75029-9002 or to the Talking Book Program of the Texas State Library & Archives Commission, P.O. Box 12927, Austin, TX 78711-2927.
