Parthena Helen (Martin) Hogue passed from this life on Saturday morning, May 9, 2009.  She was born in 1915 in Lewisville to Doc and Ethel (Gosper) Martin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cotis Hogue, her sisters, Audrey Boenker, Ethel Lou Hale and brother, Kenneth Martin.  She is survived by her son, Holt Temple and his wife, Jan; two daughters, Gail (Jackie) Clayton and Charlotte (Curt) McMahan; grandchildren, Scott Temple and Alissa Cooper; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered for her sweet giving spirit, loving ways, many acts of kindness and her firm belief in and love for the Lord.  There will be family visitation at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, May 10th.  Services will be held on Monday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Lewisville.  Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery.  The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church building fund, American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or Hospice Plus of Dallas.
