Owen M. Henderson, born on June 11, 1970 in Boston, MA, beloved husband and father sadly and suddenly passed away on Sunday March 5, 2017.
He is survived by his eternally loving wife Kara Henderson, his 3 beautiful daughter's Kirsten, Megan and Kate. His mother Joann Henderson of Roslindale, MA. His sister Sarah Henderson and brother in law Jason Marshall and beloved niece Aoife Marshall also of Roslindale, MA, who have suffered a tremendous loss. Owen is predeceased by his father John E. Henderson of Boston, MA who passed away in July 2010.
He will be deeply missed by his mother in law Patricia Kay and he is predeceased by his loving father in law Edward Kay who passed in November 2014, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  To the Kay's Owen was the greatest son in law, but most importantly was more like the son they never had.
Owen will also be greatly be missed by a very large extended family in the Boston, MA area. He will be missed by multitude of loving and caring friends in the DFW area as well as in the Boston, MA area and his friends on the east coast who remained friends with Owen since their days at URI. Also his coworkers who respected him greatly.
Owen was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Class of 1988. He is also a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Class of 1992.
Owen had a very successful career in the financial industry. His final employment for the past almost 11 years at Fidelity Investments in both Boston, MA and Westlake, TX. His daughter's Kate and Megan said their father was very funny and that's what they will miss most about him. His eldest daughter Kirsten will miss spending time with him and having him in her life.
He was a great fan of all his Boston sports teams. He also played bass in a local band called The Faps for 5 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, going to the library with his daughter's, watching Netflix series and movies with Kara, laughing with his family and caring for his family.
His memorial service is being held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 4501 Teasley Lane, Denton, TX 76210.
