Ovaleta Thompson, 94, of Denton, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Denton Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 8, 1912 in Sanger, to Will and Hattie (Merrill) Smith. She was married to Charles James Thompson on October 30, 1932 in Marietta, Oklahoma, he died October 13, 1992. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and retired from Moore's Federal Credit Union, where she was the Manager.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2006.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her daughter, Charleta Thompson, of Denton, and other extended family.
