Oscar Lee Hatfield, Jr. (Sonny), age 76, of Flower Mound, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Highland Village.

He was born October 29, 1931 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Oscar Lee Hatfield, Sr. and Mary Ruth Henry Hatfield. Oscar married Deloris Drewry on July 11, 1953 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris; daughters, Janet Lynn Hatfield and Donna Hatfield; son, Gary Lee Hatfield; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Schoonover and brother, Bill Hatfield. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hatfield and a sister, Kay Thomas.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville is in charge of arrangements. For online condolences please go to www.mulkeymason.com.
