Obituary
Opal H. Harpool, 89, of Denton passed away on April 8, 2014. Opal was born in Kopperal, TX on November 7, 1924 the daughter of Charles and Izora Talley Hadley. Opal was a teacher and educator for Denton public schools for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Albert E. Harpool. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Hall and husband Harry G. of Denton and her two sons; Ralph Harpool and wife Denise of Sanger and Charles (Gig) Harpool of Denton; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust St. Denton, with Pastor Ritch Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. A visitation will take place on Thursday Night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
