Ollie B. Myers, 96, of Mesquite, died Monday, December 26, 2005 at her home in Mesquite.
Mrs. Myers was born March 12, 1909 in Aubrey, TX to L.Z. and Fannie Elizabeth (Hadyn) Wilson. She was married to Joseph Ashford Myers on April 3, 1926 in Denton County, TX, he died on December 10, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Calvary Temple in The Colony.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday December 29, 2005 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rev. Kenneth R. Myers will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday December 28 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Copeland of Mesquite, Linda Johnson of Marietta, TX; son, Kenneth Myers of Houston; brother, L.Z. Wilson of Seal Beach, CA; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Jo Ashley and son, Roy "Sonny" Myers.
