Olivia Rebecca Wilson age 87 of Denton passed away Saturday January 02, 2010 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Denton. She was born February 28, 1922 in Benito, Manitoba, Canada to James and Ella (Muir) Lyons. She married Wayne Kenneth Wilson August 18, 1943 in Ellsworth, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Sherry Carder of Rowlett, TX. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Denton State School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton and very active in the Triangle Lions Club. She is survived by her son Bruce Wilson and his wife Denise of Keller; Son-in-Law Douglas Carder of Rowlett; Grandchildren Daniel Wilson of Seattle; Darryl Wilson and wife Molly of McKinney; Rebecca Barnett and husband Tommy of Rowlett; Misti Potter and husband Alan of Rowlett; Chris Carder of Midland; Brother Muir Lyons and wife Elize of Kamloops, BC and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church Denton on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 4:00 PM.
