Olive Aline Willingham, 92, of Denton, our dear Mother passed from death to everlasting life in the arms of Jesus on March 31, 2007. She was born in Aubrey, TX on May 27, 1914 to Henry Washington and Myrtle (Barrow) Erwin. She was married 64 years to the love of her life, Raymond Willingham, whom she married on June 27, 1931 in Denton, who preceded her in death on March 25, 1994. She will always be remembered for love and devotion to her large family which included her four children, Billie F. Watson and her late husband Frank, Jimmy R. Willingham and wife, Joann, Jane E. Parker and husband Bob, all of Denton, and David L. Willingham, and wife Carol, of Carrollton, Ten Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren, and Eleven Great Great Grandchildren. She was one of twelve brothers and sisters, and four are still living, Sister, Mary Sue Reid, of Lake Kiowa, brothers, Grady Erwin, of Lake Kiowa, John Wesley Erwin, of Era, and Wayne Erwin, of Fort Worth.
She was a valued Employee of Texas Woman's University for thirty-two years where she had many friends. She was a loyal member of Central Baptist Church for over Fifty years where she sang in the choir and was a devoted Sunday School Teacher.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Central Baptist Church, 2221 N. Carroll Blvd. with Pastor Paul Shelton, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 for Visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frank Watson Bus Fund, % Central Baptist Church, 2221 N. Carroll Blvd. Denton, TX 76201. Pallbearers will be, Brian Watson, Gary McFadden, Oliver Willingham, Brandon Fowler, Jordan Fowler, Bob Watson, and Dave McFadden.
