Lucille Blankenship, 100 years of age, passed away on July 7, 2014 in Denton, Texas. She was born on October 7, 1913 at Crafton, Texas.
She married Randle L. Blankenship in 1937, and they made their home in Mc Allen, Texas, where she would live for seventy years. She was widowed in 2002.
She is survived by Randle, Jr. and Francine Blankenship of Denton, Texas, Billy Blankenship and wife Mabel Byrnes of Corpus Christi, Texas, 3 grandchildren; Lisa Shuttlesworth of Denton, David Blankenship of Weatherford, Texas, John Byrnes of Leon, Mexico, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mc Allen; no public services are scheduled. Memorial donations may be made to a children's home of your choice. Lucille is now at rest in a far better place. Rest in peace, sweet Mother.
