Ola Belle Killingsworth Watkins 89, born May 9, 1924 to Reverend J.B. Killingsworth and Alma Belle Tuttle Killingsworth in Snyder, Texas passed away September 10, 2013, at her home in Denton, Texas, with family at her side.


Ola Graduated from cosmetology school and had a shop in Borger, Texas until 1963. She married Arvil E. Watkins October 11, 1942 and moved to Denton in 1972. She retired from J.C. Penny in 1989.



Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2013, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Denton Funeral Home, 120 S. Carroll Blvd. Denton, 76201.

A private burial will take place in Cooper Creek Cemetery at a later date.



She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, A.E. Watkins; daughter, Sherline W. Watkins; brother, Tommy L Killingsworth and sister, Bertha Faye Jackson.



Ola is survived by her sister, Reverend Margie Ruth Holman of California; brother, Reverend Jesse Benjamin Killingsworth of Alabama; daughters, Shelia A. Orsburn and Sharon K. Pressley; grandchildren, Dennis L. Pickard, Larry R. Davenport, Jr, Michael D. Pickard, Sherre A. Driggers and Darren Pickard; great-grandchildren, Zachary P. Driggers, Dalton Davenport, Felleonnie Davenport and Amari de Leon Davenport.



Arrangements are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home.
