Ola L. Reed, 97, of Argyle, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at Arlington Memorial Hospital. She was born May 26, 1908 in Argyle to Joseph Joe and Lillian (Freasher) Jeter. She was married to J. Ray Reed in 1926 in Argyle, he died in 1972. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Argyle since 1939. She was retired from Texas Woman's University.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 24, 2006 in the First Baptist Church of Argyle, with Rev. Bryan Hutchinson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 23, 2006.

Mrs. Reed is survived by one daughter, Juanita Boydston, of Denton, Grandchilden, Eca Fore and Companion, Sherri, of Austin, Renee Bowns and Marshall, of Arlington, Ronda Fore, of Ft. Worth, Monty Morgan and Theresa, of Ponder, Kelsey Moore and Peggy, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Steven Moore, of Denton, and Bryan Moore and Carrie, of Florida, and four Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edwina R. Morgan, husband, parents and Eight Brothers and Sisters.
