Odie Rhinehart, Jr., age 75, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008, in Lewisville. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

He was born November 27, 1932 in Athens, Texas to Odie Rhinehart, Sr. and Ethel Miller Rhinehart. Odie married Debra Martin on September 24, 1988 in Lewisville. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Odie is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter, Katha Luster of Lewisville; son, Michael Rhinehart of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; step-children, Cynthia Woods, Willie Jr. Luster, Diann Jonah, Lawrence Luster, Wanda Luster, Rita Luster and Mamie Grimsley; sisters, Melva Dawn Daniel and Joyce McNeil and brother, Bobby Rhinehart. He is also survived by Miisty, Butch, Snow, B.J., Bubbles, Tomkins, Stub, Shadow, Stripe and Suzy. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Lee, Oscar and Mance and by two sisters, Loyce and Maldee. He was also preceded in death by his beloved Muffin, Hank, Baron, Squeakers and Rudy.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Lewisville. There will be a viewing 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hopewell  Church in Athens, Texas. Burial will follow at Barker Cemetery in the Baxter Community.
