Norma Lee (Chittum) Self, 82, of Lakewood Village, TX, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 peacefully in her home. Norma was born on September 30, 1936 in Abilene, TX to Caddo Bill and Beatrice Chittum. She married Horace Self on May 31, 1958. Norma retired as an accounting manager from Southern Union Gas Company in Dallas, TX.

Norma is survived by her husband of 60 years, Horace Self of Lakewood Village, TX; daughter Denise Jackson and her husband Bryan of Frisco, TX; daughter Shannon Temple and her husband Charles of Van, TX; grandchildren Taylor Jackson of Frisco, TX, Bailey Hedrick and husband Glenn Hedrick of Frisco, TX, Landrey Jackson of Frisco, TX; Mia Temple of Van, TX; great grandchild Annabelle Laverde of Frisco, TX.

She was preceded in death by father Caddo Bill Chittum; mother Beatrice Pauline Chittum and brother Raymond Eugene Chittum.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Living Word Baptist Church, 2315 Oak Grove Pkwy, Little Elm, TX with Pastor Richard Stevens officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Norma will be laid to rest at Little Elm Cemetery, Little Elm, TX. Arrangements by Mulkey-Bowles Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton.

Also, a special thank you to all of Norma's wonderful extended family, friends and neighbors in Lakewood Village, TX.
