Passed away peacefully on January 15, 2016 at the age of 83. She was born in Melbourne, Arkansas on October 19, 1932 the daughter of William Washington Peterson and Lucy Mae Lewis Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parent's and her 4 brothers Ralph Peterson, John W. Peterson, Bill Peterson, and brother Sherman Peterson. Nina was also preceded in death by sisters Lois Peterson and Hazel Claypool. Her son Scott Martin also preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Terri and Bill Hayley of Corinth, Texas , Granddaughter Jamie Vaughan of Corinth, Texas, and Great
Granddaughter Kendall Vaughan of Corinth, Texas. Nina is survived by sister-in-law Laura Peterson of Tulsa,Oklahoma wife of John.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends. She was dearly loved and will be missed tremendously. Special thanks to ACT home health for the wonderful support and the love and care they showed in the past 4 years. Super special thanks to Rita, Melody, Pam, Cece, Paul , Jo, Toma and all the other nurses and aides that were there daily. We want to last but not least acknowledge Dr. Khan and his wonderful nurse Kathy for coming to the house regularly and letting Nina know she was a
great lady and she was loved and cared for.
