Nikolay Peter Storti, 26, of Lake Dallas, TX, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Dallas Medical Center.
Nikolay was born on July 3, 1988. He graduated from Liberty Christian High School in 2008 and attended college at Western Texas, University of the Southwest, and Montana State. He worked as a dispatcher for ENG Transportation.
He is survived by his parents, Peter and Tina Storti of Lake Dallas; fiancé, Ashlee Marie Bourdan of The Colony and their unborn child, Aubree Lynn Storti, grandparents Sue and Jim Moorman of Desoto; aunts/uncles: Kristi & Timm England of Midlothian, Bryan & Cheryl Barnes of Nemo, Duane Storti of Seattle, Bob & Sabina Storti of NY, Laura & Russ Whittle of FL and cousins: Matt, Ben, Jake, James, Josh, Douglas, Sara, Suzanna, Caleb, and Elyse.
Nick is remembered for his compassion, laughter and friendship freely offered to so many. He volunteered numerous times to serve as a teen mentor and leader at his church youth retreats every summer and winter. He loved animals as shown by his dogs: Kerry, Beau, Maggie, Ranger, and Max. Nick was a golfer and played on his HS and college teams winning 2 state championships while at Liberty Christian.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 on Friday January 2, 2015 in the chapel of the Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX.
