Nicholas Shane Thrasher, 30, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was born March 18, 1984, and grew up in Decatur, TX. A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 21 at Denton Funeral Home. There will be a gathering of friends and family in Nick's honor starting at 3:00p at Oak St. Drafthouse in Denton. Nick graduated from Decatur High School in 2002 and received an Associate's Degree in literature from the University of North Texas. Nick lived in Denton, TX with his girlfriend Sara Norman. He was employed at Oak Street Draft House where he was known for his magnetic and larger than life personality. His genuine concern for everyone, from acquaintances to loved ones, will be remembered and missed greatly. Nick is survived by his father, Joe Thrasher; mother, Renee Thrasher; three siblings, Kristina Mercer, Tiffany Thrasher-Siegfried, and Cody Everton.
